10 Windows Shortcut Keys you didn’t know

Well you might know some of them but there are a couple that might surprise you. I’ve been using shortcut keys for a very long time and they really saved me time. Without further ado let’s get into the list. By the way, some of these will only work in Windows 11, but most will also work in Windows 10. The dictation shortcut is my new favourite.

TYPE WITH YOUR VOICE
OPEN THE SETTINGS APP
VIEW AND USE CLIPBOARD HISTORY

LOCK YOUR COMPUTER
SAVE A SCREENSHOT AS A FILE
INSERT EMOJIS ANYWHERE
REOPEN A CLOSED BROWSER TAB (edge, chrome and others)

Ctrl + T keyboard shortcut creates a new tab in a browser.

OPEN TASK MANAGER
MOVE WINDOWS BETWEEN MONITORS

The CTRL key is great for speeding up text editing.

DELETE PREVIOUS WORD
JUMP TO NEXT/PREV WORD
SELECT WORDS FORWARD OR BACKWARDS
